When the pressure was diagnosed by doctor, salt becomes a forbidden item. So I eat salt with a little fried; No, no, the fried salt does not even go to pressure, you should, in my opinion, start eating dusk salt, Robert added. Mother said, “No, no, no salt will go to increase blood pressure.” John said the same thing. All of them together raised their voices. It started outcry.  At a time when girls are chatting, everyone goes on saying; no one listens to the other!

The voice of John is the highest, Hey, keep talking about your doctors! Can people eat foods without salt? As long as I live I will eat salt, whatever So much salt is entered in the tiger’s stomach of forest after eating the saltwater; Where nothing happens to the animals ! I have not heard about increasing the pressure of tiger, lion, and rhino! Has anyone ever heard of a heart attack to a Royal Bengal Tiger? John poured one more juice. Everyone laughed. Mother is eating betel leaf tremendously with laughing, the entire house trembled with laughter.

Salt, blood pressure and heart disease

If salt levels in food are consistently higher than normal, the risk of blood pressure increases. If blood pressure continues to rise, the fat inside the coronary artery rises and the risk of coronary heart disease increases. Likewise, the cerebral artery wall of the brain increases the risk of cerebral stroke. Cardiologists now think that salt or sodium chloride of five grams a day is enough for our body. If more salt gets into the body for a long time, the fear of different types of rage will increase and the risk of these complications will rise high. So the medical experts have been suggesting that it should have opted for less salt from an early age. No matter how low the quality, no need to say, we are habituated with a lot of salts. Experts estimate that the people of the common country eat 10 to 15 grams of salt a day on average- Salt in rice, broth, soup-sour, guava, cucumber, salads, egg, boiling, mouth cleansing, fried, fried rice and nuts. In many ways, salt is entered into our body more than we require. Salt means sodium chloride that may be raw or fried. Salt is a white bag, packet salt, iodine-rich salt (iodized salt), bit salt, corks salt or dusk salt, whatever the name, all salts contain sodium chloride. The risk of various diseases will appear in the body when sodium chloride is seen high in the body. It is detrimental for any human being having any kind of salt continuously on one body. Eating more salt not only increases blood pressure, but it also increases the amount of extra water in the body’s cells (Increased Extracellular Fluid Volume). Furthermore physical problems arise. The fact that eating more salt increases the risk of heart disease and the risk of various types of cardiovascular disease which is now undoubtedly proven.

Black people suffer more

The salt in food is more harmful for the people of black skin like common in Asia and Africa than the people of white skin in any country. Medical researchers have come to this conclusion after a long study on the comparative effect of salt on the body among the Negro and ‘white’ in the United States. The reason for this irrational racism in the influence of salt on the body is not unknown any longer, but known. A portion of the salt covered with food comes out of the kidney . The kidney blood can be low in salt, more than whites. The urine of human can be higher than salt in the body, compared to whites. It has been reported that a human body has a long-term control of its blood pressure, depending on how the kidney works. The kidneys are more active in keeping the levels of salt in normal human skin. In this case, the skin of the human kidney is less than that of the skin. If more salt enters the body, therefore, the harmful effects of salt on the body will be more in our opinion human beings. Increased blood pressure, coronary artery cavity will increase the risk of rupture in the coronary heart. People with white skin are less at risk of such phenomenon.A portion of salt infused with food in the body is passed through the kidney with urine. The kidney of black People can sprinkle salt of blood less than that of white people. In comparison to white people, salt can be extracted more from the body of black people through urine. It has been known how a kidney transplants salts of human’s blood clot that depends on the long-term control of the man’s blood pressure. The kidneys are more active in keeping the levels of salt normal in the skin of white people. The activation of kidneys for the skin of black people is comparably less.If more salt goes into the body, the harmful effects of salt will be more in the body of black people like us. Blood pressure will access, coronary artery cavity will be narrow for which the risk of coronary heart disease will also enhance. People with white skin are less at risk of such diseases.

This is about salt in the body

Taking more salt increases blood pressure. If the blood pressure increases, reduction of salt intake decreases the blood pressure level again slightly. Various studies have repeatedly proven this information. Public health experts have been saying to avoid consuming too much salt for too long. In particular, when blood pressure is raised, such restrictions are made to limit daily salt intake to five grams. How does your

The level of salt in different food

More salt- Pickles, chutney, digesters, tincture for digestion, potato chips, sausage, hot-dogs, salty nuts (china or almonds), popcorn, ham, bacon, chips, bottled fish, meat, vegetables, soup. Dosa, shrimp, samosa, kachori, nimki, oil-fries, salty biscuits, bhujia, any fried food.Butter, cheese, zarda, gutka, dried fish (dry), sea fish, more salted muri, roll, mukhshuddhi, any fast-food, more salty cooked food.

Medium salt- Cheese , bread, cake, home-cooked dishes, pantua or any fried sweetmeat. Less salt- Kanda or roots, chhena, milk, fresh vegetables, fruits, pond or river fish, homemade curd without salt. Avoid- Packet nuts or cashew nuts, fried desserts, pickles, sauces, mukhsuddhi, chips, tinned or bottled dishes, salt-boiled, more salted muri, fried salt or sea salt, korkoch salt, more salty cooked foods. Stop eating salt in the plate Remove salt-pot, pickle’s bottle from dining table. Let there bee on the table with vinegar, lemon, peppermint powder filled chili-pot .Stop using salt in boiled or roasted eggs, any boiled food, fruits like guava or cucumber. Give the vinegar or lemon juice to the salad, stop mixing salt.

your kidney deal with salt entering the body depends on some certain conditions. The future of salt entering into our body depends on Heredity, dieting, nutritional quality and survival environment. Depends on the food digestion (Metabolism) of the body and certain levels of hormones. These conditions determine how much salt entered the body will damage the kidney, artery and heart.Long time ago, the quantity of salt existing in the environment was less than necessity. In that primitive environment of salt deficiency, when people got salt, they used to take a certain amount of salt in persuasion of certain genes to maintain salt balance in the body. Later though salt increases a lot in the environment, but that persuasive gene to eat salt remains in our body. There was the conception among us before that we like to eat more salt before due to the ‘persuasion of genes’ (Genetic Thrive).Research has proved the futility of such a concept. It has been reported that that ‘salt-greedy gene’ has disappeared in human body due to huge increase of salt supply in the environment. Consuming more salt is just a habit of the civilized society. This can also called tradition. Researchers have proven that reducing salt intake to a healthy level of five gram is not difficult at all, not in a single day, rather gradually. There was a fun experiment in Australia in 2003. To make bread, salt is mixed with flour in any country. An Australian cardiologist started work on government’s permission in certain bread making bakery. Salt usage in bread making was reduced by twenty-five percent within one and a half months compared to the previous months. It was found that salt could not be detected in bread by a single person who eats bread made by those particular bakeries. Even could not identify the difference of bread’s taste of this bakeries in comparison with factories who did not reduce salt in bread. There is much to learn from the results of this test in Australia. Previously, a human’s ‘salt appetite’ was thought to be his own. Scientists thought that the people having more ‘salt appetite’ could not help taking salt in their diet. It is understood from Australia’s bread factory research that the idea was wrong. There is nothing as ‘salt appetite’ in any human. Is it just a habit to be accustomed to more salt for the people. If you eat more salt or increase salt in your diet, the ‘taste buds’ of the tongue begin to be accustomed to more salt. If such this happens, the taste buds are not stimulated if there is less salt in the food, the food does not taste delicious. In addition, if the salt is reduced slowly in the food, the taste-sense of the tongue changes. Then the taste buds’ stimulation is satisfied with the food of less salt, does not seem tasteless. The people habituated to less salty food find it difficult to eat more salty food on the contrary, in such more salty food where taste is not available. The same is true to the experience of the current writer who has been accustomed to less salty food for the past two decades.

Indigenous people suffer less

The people of the primitive tribes suffer from high blood pressure much lower than the civilized people. This information has been reported in respective surveys conducted in different countries in different periods. The main reason is to eat less salt and not to get away a bit from traditional lifestyle. Civilized people eat more salt, suffer excessive blood pressure also. In addition, people of the primitive tribes suffer from not only low blood pressure problems, but also low coronary heart disease. Heart attack is rare among them.Hypertension increases the risk of coronary heart disease, increases fear of heart attack, as I said earlier. It is an easy but valuable solution to develop the practice of low salt intake to keep blood pressure normal as well as to prevent the coronary heart disease or its serious complication a heart attack. The prevalence of hypertension and coronary heart disease are relatively low not only among the indigenous people but also among the people in rural areas of this country. Experts in the Hypertension Society of India believe that eating a lot of fresh vegetables and not eating ‘processed foods’ is the main reason for such a phenomenon. In addition to this, the fact is to keep in mind to keep normal weight in an working life.

The devastation of salt

There is no doubt that more than one teaspoon (5-6 grams) of salt a day is harmful to the body. Salt means sodium chloride. A small amount of sodium is needed to maintain normal functioning of the body. Problems arise when more sodium enters the body through salt. Fluid increases the amount of fluid in the body & different kind of problems appear. Excess sodium compresses the blood vessels in the body and increases blood pressure. As a result, the heart functions more to maintain the normal supply of oxygen by pumping blood into the body organs. As it takes more effort to go ahead removing heavy stones, this is some kind of similar issue. The more the heart functions, the more is the pressure. There is the risk for the heart system to go out of order while it has to perform more and more work. Increased salt intake in the blood damages the kidney also. Excessive sodium increases the risk of kidney damage reducing blood supply to kidneys. Again reduced blood circulation in the kidney also reduces the ability of the kidney to filter salt & its disposal. The problem becomes more and more complex due to increased level of salt in the body. Higher salt increases blood pressure & leads to atherosclerosis, increases risk of coronary heart disease, heart attack or cerebral stroke. Our body machine does not know how to praise eating salt. In addition to the aforementioned problems, more salt addicted people at a particular age are more prone to ‘osteoporosis’ the problem of bone fragility due to the decay of calcium from bones (De-calcification). Increased fracture at a low stroke, aging becomes painful. Not only that, a group of scientists has found out recently that eating too much salt is associated with stomach cancer. It is not the time to say the last word about it.

Research on salt

To understand the relationship of salt to physical problems, a long-term study has been carried out in thirty-two countries around the world since 1995. Among these countries, there were China, Japan, the United States as well as ours. The amount of salt was regularly measured in the food and urine of the ten selected people under study. Daily blood pressure levels were also measured. This study called the ‘Inter-salt Study’ has shown the dangerous effects of excess salt in the body.It has been found that people of those countries eating more salt are more likely to suffer coronary heart disease or cerebral stroke than the other countries. It has been reported that potassium has a beneficial role in preventing excess of sodium in the body. Increase of the proportion of sodium and potassium in the body increases the problems mentioned earlier, decreases if the ratio decreases. Most fresh fruits, cereals, pulses, etc. have enough potassium. If these foods are taken regularly especially a bit of fresh seasonal fruit, the effect of sodium is somewhat diminished in the body. Decreases the risk of hypertension, heart attack or stroke.Another large-scale survey was conducted in England in 2000- 2001 to find the relationship of blood pressure and other problems with dietary sodium. It was found in that survey that blood pressure increases very low in the people’s body accustomed to consume more fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and low fat milk-yogurt-chhena in comparison to other people. By eating this kind of food, less salt enters the body and there is more excretion of salt than others from the body through urine. Stroke or heart attack is relatively low in people who are consumed with such foods due to low blood pressure.

No damage if salt reduced

Either salt control for all people in controlling blood pressure and coronary heart disease, or lowering salt levels only for the people who are at high risk? There was a debate about this few times before. The controversy has recently ended. It is said that minimum level of salt is essential for good- health of any human. The danger is reduced in such people having more risk of stroke or heart attack for low salt intake, lower salt intake is not harmful a little to the people of lower risk. There is no substitute for reducing salt in the food to live longer in sound body, to protect the fear of getting sick. Salt will enter the body less if such mixed natural foods like cereals, pulses, rooted vegetables, fresh fruits, milk, yogurt are taken. Salt will enter less in the moderate use of salt in cooking, avoidance of all types of processed food. The effect of salt can be avoided if such foods are taken that contain more potassium. All kinds of fruits, fruit juices, vegetables, cereals, etc. contain a lot of potassium. Salt can be substituted in foods for ‘potassium salt’ (K Salt). It is now available in the market of this country.

Reduce salt, save heart

The people of this country take salt two to three times (5 grams vs. 10-15 grams) more per day than necessity on an average. The prevalence of high blood pressure, stroke and coronary heart disease among Indians is one of the important factors behind the prevalence of excess salt. There can be no effect of excess sodium in the body due to excess salt intake if the kidney can filter & remove excess salt from the body. The kidney of no human is capable of this work so much. It will be relevant in this context to mention the earlier statement of Indian medical scientists associated with the ‘Inter-salt Study’. ‘Now we the Indians have abundant salt in the bodies,’ said those scientists. ‘No protection has been made so far in the body of the Indians to prevent the loss of so much salt. So, salt quantity must be reduced in the food for good health in any way.’There is no substitute for moderate use of salt in food to prevent heart disease. People accustomed to more salt do not get taste in less salty food. This  does not mean that food with low salt would diminish.

Reduce salt intake to stop heart disease

Do you have the habit to eat salt in the plate? Give up the habit.Minimize the use of salt in cooking as much as possible. Not in one day, step by step.Be accustomed to boil without salt. If not, eat less potatoes or other boiled foods, use less salt to boiled foods.Do not add salt to salad. Instead of salt, use powder peppermint, vinegar or lemon Juice in the food.Avoid as much as possible: fries, salty foods, canned foods, processed foods, fast-foods, pickles, salty mouthwash, any delicious foods. Not at a time, Reduce the salt level to 3-5 grams (one teaspoon) in the body daily by slowly reducing the use of salt.Raw salt, fried salt, cork salt, bit salt, sea salt, sculpted salt- all are equally harmful. Do not call for disaster by taking one instead of the other.Heart patients, kidney patients, hypertension patients must reduce salt intake. the taste of the food. That means less salt will reduce the taste of the food. The concept of taste is not inflexible, the taste of the same person can be changed in many ways. It is not difficult for the buds of the tongue to make accustomed slowly to low salty foods. It is not difficult as well to be accustomed to low salty foods by reducing salt slowly. How much delicious a salty meal or more salty food sounds, people with the taste of low salt are uncomfortable with such food. So this is the main necessity to be habituated with low consumption of salt. To be stubborn in the face of low salty food than to turn back to salty food tickling watery tongue with effort at its sight- this second method is more realistic for preventing heart disease. Scientific as well.

Consciousness to reduce salt

Salt is mixed in preparing foods at one’s will, especially in the countries like ours. How much salt there is in this meal, if it is written on the packet, you can think before eating. The decision to eat or not to eat can be taken. Thoughts on public health in this country are still very mild in government level. The country where iodine mixed with ‘iodized salt’ is much less or more than the necessity, according to the facility or  wish of the manufacturers, it would be a disparate imagination in such a country that the system will become healthier even if the rule of writing down salt level in food packets is introduced! So this is you who have to be aware of reduced salt consumption. Eating more natural foods and avoiding artificial foods as much as possible is not difficult at all. Not difficult to be gradually accustomed to the healthful practices of low salt. If you can reduce salt intake to just one gram a day, the risk of heart disease, especially heart attack, will be less to some extent. If daily salt intake can be kept to the level of five or six grams per day, the risk of coronary heart disease will be greatly reduced. The risk of serious health problems such as hypertension, heart attack, brain stroke, kidney damage will be decreased. Simply, consuming less salt is an essential condition of good health. The growing trend of conscience among the educated people regarding food has been noticed recently. You will be moderate in your use of salt in the food, you will learn by yourself and make the other members of your family restrained from salt, that is to be expected a bit. Although difficult, this is not impossible. If you and your family are moderate in the use of salt, may be one day your acquaintances and neighbors will learn to see you. After being self-restrained, may be you need to be active in making others aware. May be you would do so acknowledging a little trouble.
