There is a regulation from the European union which was published on may 2018 termed as data protection regulation, GDPR. This is essential for conducting transactions and businesses all around the world. The Hamburg Supervisor John Caspar measures a recently collected DSGVO to complain against Google’s Android Advertising ID considerable importance and recommends the Group a proper handling. Which he had submitted to the national data protection authority together with the Vienna civil rights organization Noyb.eu, has been running for a week. It is directed against the Android Advertising ID (AAID), an alphanumeric identifier that Google generates on every Android smartphone and with which the smartphone and its users can be identified. The ID is supposed to only allow personalized advertising to be played out, but is described by civil rights activists as the “digital license plate” of every Android device.
